We are pleased to announce the first of a series of webinars designed to introduce you to the content of the new IPPF guidelines for Client-Centred clinical care.

One of the four Pillars of IPPF’s new Strategy is Centred Care on Peoplewith priority attention on individuals’ experiences and ability to realize their full sexual and reproductive health care needs. The implementation of the Client-Centered Clinical Guidelines represents an important and essential component to quality client-centered and rights-based care for all people. The guidelines cover the full range of sexual and reproductive healthcare, including abortion, contraception, STIs/HIV, maternal health, sexual and gender-based violence and healthcare delivery in humanitarian settings.

Dissemination of the CCCGs is key in ensuring providers are getting the information they need to deliver high quality services to their clients, thereby allowing the fullest possible range of affordable and quality sexual and reproductive care and commodities.

Join us for the first in-depth discussion of the guidelines this coming Thursday, on sexual and reproductive healthcare in humanitarian settings!

During times of crisis, women and girls are at increased risk of sexual and gender-based violence, STIs, HIV and unwanted pregnancies, making it especially vital that we continue offering SRH services. During this webinar IPPF’s humanitarian team will explore with you what constitutes a humanitarian setting, how we offer lifesaving SRH services in these contexts, what services should be prioritized and what activities should be initiated at the onset of a crisis. The Sudanese Family Planning Association (SFPA) will share their experience of running SRH programs in refugee camps, and there will be time for some questions and discussions.

The first session with English- French translation will take place at 7h (GMT). The second session with English-Spanish translation will be available at 16h (GMT). All sessions will be recorded.”
