ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

IPPF is a charity that is leading a locally owned, globally connected civil society movement that provides and enables services and champions sexual and reproductive health and rights for all, especially the under-served. IPPF is acting through its network of over a 100 Member Associations working across the globe.  

In the last ten-months, IPPF embarked on a profound and transformative organizational change journey. IPPF is changing by choice, for choice its governance and operations, focusing on how the Federation can become more member-led, transparent, and learning-focused. So that in the medium and long term, the Federation will be more strategically positioned to respond with agility to the needs of women, girls, and all the people it serves.  

Young people are at the centre of this transformative agenda. Building on strong existing youth networks and its youth manifesto launched in December 2019, IPPF is looking to develop its structure, programmes and services to create a Federation where young people not only have a voice but play a strong leadership role.   

To reach this ambition for our organization, we are looking for a passionate, young driven individual to lead the operationalization and development of IPPF’s youth-centred framework ensuring youth involvement is fully mainstreamed in IPPF programming and structures. The qualified candidate will fill the position of Global Lead, Youth.
